Scotia Designs Architectural Services is a Home Design company located in Nova Scotia, Canada. Our goal is to help clients design their dream home with practical plans that reflect their desires and budgets. We work with several other companies to provide you with plans that are designed above and beyond the industry standards. We use state of the art architectural software, with 3D rendering techniques that are able to model the exact sunlight from your geological coordinates. This allows clients to have the confidence that their homes will be built true to their hearts desires.
Our Design Process
We begin our process with a Client Consultation. During this meeting we will review your desires, specifications and budget for your home and home design. Should you choose to proceed with Scotia Designs for your architectural service needs, we will provide you with a contract and begin the Initial Design process.

The Initial Design process typically takes a couple of days. In this process we use the information provided to us, such as photos or plans that you've drawn information from. Upon completion of your Initial Preliminary Design we begin the Revision Process.

In the Revision Process we work with you, updating your plan to reflect requested changes. This allows us to fine tune aspects of your home that will reflect your dream home as you desire. Updates typically take a couple of days. Upon completion of revisions we begin the Finalization Process.

The Finalization Process can take up to a week. During this time your home design will be detailed and provided with the following plan views; Floor Plan, Foundation Plan, Roof Plan, Elevations, Sections, Details and Site Plans. This Finalized design can be used for quoting & construction. We look forward to working with you.
